365 and my word of 2011

Everyone took a holiday on New Year's Eve ... except for my work.  That's ok because while everyone is complaining about reality setting back in today, I actually have a holiday!  I think I'm going to take the girls to Barnes n Noble so we can play with books and trains, and I can get a yummy coffee :-)

I started the 365 project {again}.  I have a good feeling that I can keep it going this time; especially with linking up with other people starting too, like my friend Sarah at Naptime Momtog.

Project 365 Button
She also gave me an award.  She totally rocks.  I suck and stress out about these awards way too often, so the award train often ends at my place, but I always acknowledge the wonderful person to pass it along to me.  She has two adorable little boys and takes the best pictures!  So if you don't know Naptime Momtog, go check her out now!

So, I'll normally post my 365 as a weekly collage, but I wanted to share a sneak peak of the two I've taken, lol!

Day 1 / 365 -- starting the year off right with lots of luck and money wishes!
1 / 365

Day 2 / 365 -- Just a snapshot, but it turned out so wonderfully; although I do have the need to move that strand of hair from her face
2 / 365

I have also seen a lot of people instead of making resolutions chose a word of the year for 2011.  I like this concept although I did make goals for myself I like to think they all fall under one word.  My word for 2011 is Growth.  I need to continue growing in many areas of my life, and even though this isn't something that ever stops; it is what I want to focus on this year.

One of the things I think holding me back is trust or rather the problems I have with trust.  Since this is my place to really be myself and open up and all; I'm going to start a weekly series aptly labeled the Trust Series with the hope that focusing on it will help me grow in the areas of my life.

Also I need to lose weight, but for that to happen I need to grow in self control.  I need to keep up an exercise regime and not eat everything I want when I want or just because it's there and I'm bored.

So, here's to Growing in 2011 and hopefully shrinking some too!
