Trust Series: Definition

Trust.

This word encompasses so much.  To many it is a positive word that brings about images of close relationships and lasting friendship.  But to me, it reminds me of where I stumble in my life.

I don't really like to admit it; maybe I've tried to be blind about it, but it is still here and I need to take notice of it.  I have trust issues.

So, I'm starting this series and aptly naming it Trust Series.  My goal is to post once a week slowly exploring what it means to trust in myself, trust in my relationship, trust in faith, and trust in God.  Hopefully I can have some guest bloggers too (hint, hint).

Sometimes we post things to bring attention to our blog especially in the way of starting a 'series', but I am starting this for me.  I will come to terms that even if no one ever comments on these, I need this to help me grow in 2011.

Might as well start it off with the definitions.  I crossed out what doesn't make sense to me, and added my comments in red.

  3. I love this, Christy.

trust is difficult for some, too easy for others. as far as trusting without doubt? I don't know if it is possible or not. I tend to want to protect myself, so I always try to prepare for failure.

trust in a marriage ... I think this is something that is a constant work in progress. I have the utmost trust in hubby, but I know that sometimes circumstances or even judgment get in the way. I could go on and on and on ... lol

I'm looking forward to see where you take this!
